2001 MAYOR'S CUP
A HUGE SUCCESS

The vision of Union City Mayor, Brian P. Stack, teaming up with local educators and Olympic gold medalist, Otis Davis, is having a major positive influence on the young people of one of the New Jersey's most densely populated cities. Several hundred young people representing all of the city's elementary schools participated in and enjoyed the competition.

The example shown by this successful youth activity is one that can and should be replicated in other communities across the nation. It is a win-win situation for all concerned.
